July 23 The day after orientation

Wednesday July 23, trying to relax from an exhausting day yesterday at the orientation succession where we meet each of the teachers who are going, the directors from the Taiwan Ministry, Ohio Department of Education personal who are in charge of the international studies. Also two teachers who went a year ago and one of them is going back for a third year. WOW! The amount of information and all of the material they gave us was so overwhelming and I felt like my brain was going to explode! However, I did meet Rachel who I will be flying over with and she is only going to be about and hour away from where I am heading in Taiwan which is going to be helpful. I have only 24 days until I officially leave the USA for 11 months. OH BOY!!!

7/11/2008 Counting down the days until I leave the United States for a new adventure of teaching and living in the southern part of Taiwan in Kenting Taiwan, where I will be teaching 3,4,5,6, English as a second language.
